September 16, 201114 yr One thing you can do to increase the chances of seeing the shootings (I have no idea what triggers them) is to edit two files in your effects folder. Namely - fx_shootstar1.fx and fx_shootstar2.fx Back them up first and then open them using Notepad. You will see that by default these effects are only visible when in Tower or Spot views. Edit the file to add the other viewing options - per the following example: [Properties]//Spot=1//Tower=1 Cockpit=1VirtualCockpit=1Spot=1Tower=1 That will at least allow you to see the shooting stars (if and when they appear) when you are in other than the Tower or Spot views. One can also create their own bgl to display the shooting star effect at coordinates you select by using the xml method to call the two effects. I have done that but have not figured out how to make it display more than once. Probably should bone up of the Special effects SDK. Have fun! Thanks David. Due to not exact appearance of the Aurora`s effects(into not ordinary areas)- is possible to edit it for appeared where it seen usually in realities? May I correct it, and make exact appear of Northern Lights at ordinary areas? Is it possible? For this there is chances? Thanks. PS- Aurora effect can appear anywhere if make line into Aircraft.cfg...
