HelloJust a quick Poll to see which Manufacturer is the most popular amongst FS9/FSX users

That would be a poll amongst Avsim members, not FS9/FSX users.

HelloObviously given that the poll is hosted on Avsim. Avsim members tend to use FS9/FSX last time I looked. But do not think that FS9/FSX users in general are unable to use Google. All the info they need is out there so they are as well informed as anyone here, most folks wont buy even the simplest item without checking the Internet these days.

As long as we don't know how many FS9/FSX users that don't register and place their vote in this thread, I'd say that there is pretty big risk that this poll is skewed. But the result is still interesting since it might reflect the community, but I wold like to see at least 150 votes before making any conclusions.

Nvidia all the way. ATI stated they will never support FSX even though some people have issues. There was a post from PMDG about it and ATI said no.So they can keep thier cards =)

Not necessarily, this post can be used to see what Avsim FSX power users are using. Considering avsim is one of the largest sites, with a solid hardware forum, we can also speculate than many power users hang out here.I would define power user as guys who home build their PC's and always want the latest n greatest :)But you're right, we'll need a good sample size to extract a decent result.I've always preferred nvidia myself. Not a a really excited user, just been using MSFS since F5.0I have a coworker putting together a build based around a Radeon 6970 - I'm curious to see how he does.

I would appreciate your comments on that card when your coworker is up and running with his new pc.
