July 6, 201114 yr Read the error again. It says it can't read from D:/If D: is your DVD drive, try copying the DVDs to your hard drive and installing from there. This comes up every now and then.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.

July 10, 201114 yr If the disks are unreadable - try them in a friends' pc, or try them at your local pc store; if they are genuinely bad - then call Microsoft support and get new disks. They will send them (for a price, I think). The possibility exists, of course, that your DVD drive is duff. In that case - get a new drive. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
July 11, 201114 yr Read the error.? MS disk ?Hmmmm.... D:\new folder ???? You're right. That's not the DVD drive. That is maybe a folder he created as Bob suggested, that he has copied an image to. Something is 'not quite right' here... so...Boeingflyer - we would like to see the error that occurs when installing from the DVD's in the DVD drive, please. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
