Megascenery for FS2004

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about purchasing a couple of MegaScenery titles for FS2004 and I want an opinion of users. Especially I'm interested whether there are any conflicts between Megascenery, UT USA and custom-made sceneries such as FSDT, FlyTampa or IMS.Thanks for your input guys.Dmitriy

I have all the MegaScenery titles, UT USA and most of the FSDT, FlyTampa and Aerosoft Mega Airport series and the only conflict I have ever had was with the Cloud9 KDCA, and they provided a patch to fix the problem. You should have zero problems with them Dmitriy and you will have no regrets buying them I am sureCheersIan

The NYC scenery is old now. And keep in mind you want the V2 series of California, not the older original versions. The PNW is my favortie as it Mega City Dallas and Denver.

I'm not sure we should trust the advice of someone who lists photography as a hobby ahead of flying! LOL I won't mention the nude women bit! :( Seriously, good advice. Not all the Megascenery titles are of equal value though all are still worth having, especially if you don't have to pay full price for them. (I got a bunch of them when they were phasing out their FS9 products and had a big sale!)You might want to check eBay to see if there are any on CDCheersIan

C'mon Ian! Nude women always come first, even ahead of flying. Ever notice that at almost every airport we have a vast selection of stirp clubs near by? :(

Yes, make sure you get the V2 versions of PNW, Northern California and Southern California - I think they are the only regions that have been upgraded for FS9 and they are a significant improvement on the earlier versions. The Washington region I think was produced using the upgraded technology so that is pretty good too but NY leaves a bit to be desired unfortunately, although it is OK if you really want photoscenery.Bill
