How do you save a Company Route on the FMC. The manaul doesn't say. 747-400

I dont think you can save a flightplan in the 744, Was one of the things I tried but remember hearing it was supposed to be part of an update or something.

Yes, you can save a company route in the 744 FMC. I forget how, but its been posted in the 747 section of the PMDG area which can be found with a search, as well, its probably in the 747 operating manual. I'll see if I can find the directions for you and post it. One question about saving and loading routes in the 747:Is it possible to load routes saved with Flightsim Commander with the 747?FSC itself says that the routes get saved in PMDG format, but untill now no aircraft exept for the MD11 can load it. Am I doing something wrong? How do you guys do it?

Sure! That's how I generate flightplans for the 744. Are you saving them to the PMDG flightplans folder?

I think/hope so. I save them to the default location where it saves PMDG flight plans. But for the MD11 it works propably, so it should be alright, right?

Yeah, you should be good. I only asked that to differentiate from the default FSX folder.One thing I have noticed is that it doesn't remember the location. When saving a plan for the 744 I have to navigate to the PMDG folder each time.

So the default location for a flightplan (even though it is in PMDG format) is not the correct folder where the 747 reads it flightplans from?Is the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS the correct one?
