Power losses

Featured Replies

Hi folks, after adding the second monitor a few days back, I´ve encountered 2 power losses on my system. It´s like someone took the plug out. In one moment I fly at FL360 above Glacier Bay towards Juneau and in the next moment... BOOOM! Monitors go black and system is rebooting. I think it´s my grafic card in connection with my crappy 420W PSU. The GFX card is drawing too much because of the second monitor and the PSU is too weak to give enough. Could this be the problem? Has anyone a good ans not that expesnive PSU seen? I think 600W and I´m safe.

Best regards, Steffen

Yes sir, your power supply is not powerful enough and is the most likely the cause of the problem. I recommend 700w or above.Kind regards,

I had this happen one night and it was the same day that I updated my Nvidia drivers. It happened once again two months later. The next day I went back to 260.99 drivers and it has not happened since, it has been 3 and a half months.

In my ile shop where I normally buy my things (also my rig is partially from there) I only found the Corsair CMPSU-750TXV2. Is that also right? Btw. looks decent and affordable.
