July 18, 201114 yr Hi all, I have just solved my problem of no tug communication as per my previous topic, yesterday. Heres the thing, now when I initiate the tug pushback on the ramp I hear all the communication( release brakes) etc, but my aircraft pushes back miracously all by itself without any intervention from the tug, as if hes on a tea break, lol. Am I missing something here ?.Can anyone help..john
July 18, 201114 yr Do any tugs work at all( for AI for example). If not, you may have FSX settings to look at. I see three versions of the gauge in the library. Make sure you have the proper one, and really follow instructions.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
July 19, 201114 yr Author Thanks bobbyjack, i can get the tug to push back a/c 737-800 in fsx at certain airports, last night used ramp 33-heavy egpf(glasgow), with communication etc. Have found most ramps evan though have a tug lined up in front of a/c still it refuses to move, and the a/c just moves back all on its own, not realistic. With my epic, doesnt matter which airport or ramp, still no tug pushback. I wonder if anyone out there has experienced this problem, or if someone has had their epic LT pushed back with all communication from the tug, at any airport ?.Have pumped up the settings quite a bit ?.Johnboy...

July 20, 201114 yr Moderator What does GA aircraft mean, in familiar with that term?. General Aviation: General aviation (GA) is one of the two categories of civil aviation. It refers to all flights other than military and scheduled airline and regular cargo flights, both private and commercial. General aviation flights range from gliders and powered parachutes to large, non-scheduled cargo jet flights. The majority of the world's air traffic falls into this category, and most of the world's airports serve general aviation exclusively. In the particular use of the term GA in my reply however, I was mostly referencing small aircraft, especially in the domain of flight simulator. July 21, 201114 yr Author Thanks for that n4gix, so sounds like only the larger a/c in macs are simulated in pushbacks, and only at certain airports, this is a shame, I hope ms can address this. Appreciate your input, thanks johnboy
July 21, 201114 yr Don't forget that unless your user aircraft is lined up in the correct place in the parking spot, tugs, jetways and baggage trucks will not work. Add on a/c may not load in the correct place. Try moving your plane forward or back a bit to see is it helps. Again, watch AI at your airports to see if things work for them. I don't have an Epic, but I did get tug pushback with the King Air.Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.

August 17, 201114 yr Moderator Ive seen a TUG push back GA aircraft,, they even have smaller equipment in production..In the "Real World" of course they do! In this case however, the discussion is about the SIM, not the "Real World"... Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
