July 19, 201114 yr The sounds in the NGX are amazing...they feel to my simmer's ear to be absolutely spot on. Touchdown and rollout sounds are VERY immersive.Truthfully, I've never noticed a speedbrake extension sound, and I'd be surprised to find there is one in the NGX. The cockpit is quite a distance from the wings, so if things like spoilers and flaps are audible, they're muted and masked by louder noise makers like the recirc fans. Thanks so much, exactly what I wanted to hear . Especially the touchdown and rollout sounds, as I believe in one of the videos that had been posted a while ago it sounded like one of the FSX stock sounds and I was just wondering. They would really just not fit in, as we already had the great engine sounds in there with their incredible whine. Glad to hear it all blends in nicely!Actually I might have misphrased my question - I wasn't exactly meaning the actual speedbrakes (yeah that'd be new to me as well if you could hear them - certainly something need be fixed if you can :(), I meant the speedbrake lever which usually has it's very unique sound when running from armed to up detent at touchdown. My personal secret favourite. Shhh!
July 19, 201114 yr Commercial Member The speedbrake autodeploy sound is there, don't worry. There's virtually nothing in the cockpit that doesn't have its own unique sound recorded from the real thing. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
July 20, 201114 yr Are the flap motor sounds simulated as well? They're my favourite sound on the 737NG. Cheers, Alistair Hibbert.
July 20, 201114 yr Cockpit probably no. Pretty sure it only applies to wing views. But there it's pretty noticeable. :(
July 20, 201114 yr Yep - you will hear the flaps on the wing view! :( Armen L CholakianPMDG Sound Engineer

July 20, 201114 yr Point taken...what I meant was that you need to fly the nosewheel onto the runway just like you do the mains. :(Except the plane is empty, than you have to land the nosewheel...;-)Regards Sven
