July 19, 201114 yr Hi,I've spent many hours/evening in my favorite paint tool the past 2 weeks, and that all for a livery I've done over a dozen times in the past. Boy, do these guys from iFly know how to texture a model ;-)But nevertheless, alllow me to show you the following screenshots, as a result of all these hours of work. In my opinion, these colors (the livery) were one of the most gracefull ones for a wingletted B738.Enjoy.Regards,Vital Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
July 19, 201114 yr Very nice work Vital, sure is gratifying when a paint is finished and is ready for prime-time. I am curious, which paint program do you use? I have been working with PS2 and have been enjoying doing a variety of repaints. Again, very nice work. \Robert Hamlich/
July 20, 201114 yr Author Hello Robert, thanks for your kind words.I've been using Corel Photo-Paint from the beginning... That should be for something like 12-13 years now. I've tried once or twice to use PS and others, but never felt comfortable with it. Always switched back to Photo-Paint. I think it's just a matter of learning the interface again... but I'm lazy :PLucky for me, since a few years the psd format can be read and most of the layers/features of the original psd are well converted.Thanks. Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
July 21, 201114 yr Author It is a great looking livery. FSX or FS9?Hi altstiff, thanks!I'm afraid it's for FS9 only. I do not have the FSX version. Also I'm not familiar with bump mappings.regards,Vital Regards, Vital Vanbeginne
July 21, 201114 yr COOL! I wanted it for FS9, I took the IFly plunge for FS9. My NG for FSX will be the PMDG NGX so this is right up my road. Gonna look for it in the library here. Thanks for the awesome paint. :( Al Stiff
