Anyone interested to see this model being done with the PMDG approach?

Wasn't this deleted from the General Forum? Besides they have more than enough on their plate for a good while with the Dash 8 and the T7. And they have a couple more surprise aircraft to even announce. Wait until those are developed.

I don't think PMDG will deverlop ATR,every aircraft was cost 1-3 years to develop, maybe could be come true in new FS.Talking%20Ear%20Off.gifAnd Flight1 has done ATR isn't.

True, but the're making 777 because of huge demand from us, the customers, which means that if there will be huge demand for ATR maybe they will decide to make one sometime. The problem is that with NGX as a base they can develop other Boeing aircraft fast and easy, and development of every turboprop will have to be started from scratch.

Since the Dash 8 Q300 is discontinued and the orders for the ATR 72 600 is growing, I thought this would be a nice edition. Currently 15 is ordered for the US, undisclosed buyer.

I wouldn't put the -300 and the ATR 72 in the same category exactly...the 72 hold's a boat more of passenger's compared to the -300's typical 50. Just because an aircraft's production has ceased doesn't mean the type is no longer popular...Piedmont Airlines is a good example :wink:The 42 is more of a direct competitor to the Dash 8 series...which including the 400's accounts for a production of around 1000+ aircraft...still a bit more than ATR's 800-ish..heheI think Flight1's ATR sim though is pretty good for the ATR fan's out there.Need to warn everyone here though that I have severe Dash-8 bias...haha.The real winner of course is PWC...which provides engines for both types :)

Seems the current offering of the ATR for FSX is somewhat quiet for the last few years. Everytime I`m close to clicking that buy button I get that PMDG quality mark holding me back. Since owning the JS41 I have been spoiled in what can be achieved in FSX. If PMDG rolls out the Dash, I will probably end up bying it anyway for quality sake, but the ATR will really get me buzzing.

Wickusm you still not sign you full name.

Personally, I'm a big fan of both the dash 8s and the ATR-72s. Now that the 200/300 models are going to be done through pmdg and the q400 through majestic, I would like to see the ATR-72 600.
