So Relase Date for the 777?

Featured Replies

Is the 777's development suppose to be easier since they don't need to develop a HUD? Or is there another system that could take that "time" in its development?

I think they don't. I haven't seen that yet. So it should mean less "Stuff" to model.

It wouldn't matter either way, much of the time consumed is implementing the technology that allows things like HGS, Collimation, EGWPS, Failure module, Detailed systems etc, with good performance. Much of that work has been done and should be implemented into the 777 much quicker. What I think may take some time (besides modelling, textures, implementation etc) is the develeopment or atleast attempt on the EFB of the 777 which if done well which is a given for PMDG and included in the 777 would be something ground breaking in FSX. Any other aircraft have a good representation of the EFB included?
