People who joined a long time ago like myself are proud to be active long time members of AVSIM, not only that, but it helps if someone is being rude or demanding or simply not following the ToS, one can just look at the date they joined and say, "Oh, this person is new here, let me help him better by explaining how the forum works and how he/she can be best helped.
