Hello EverybodyI was just wondering if all the analouge gauges in the NGX are going to be 3D,cause I couldn't be positively sure in Nick's videosWonderful work, by the way anyway, thank youJackson Dalton

what does actually that 3D means? Do I need some 3D glases to fly NGX with 3D? Money Eyes.gif And btw. Nice work with NGX

What they are trying to say is that when something is in 3d i,e VC especially, it means that they will look really stand out in the 2d cockpit most times things seem flat, in the vc cockpit things will be alive ..

It means that all the little individual components of the gauges like the needles, rotating altimeter drum etc are actually 3D objects and not a 2D bitmap gauge placed onto the panel.

You can probably get away with using some 3D glasses and enabling 3D through Nvidia... That would make for an amazing experience, especially in the NGX!! And it's great to hear everything will be 3D modeled. Living up to what the Team originally said when mentioning that the JS41 was to be used as a test bed for this product.

From what i noticed in the videos, this really is a true work of 3d art. Not only do the switches, knobs and buttons stand out against the panel, also almost all the screws do. And they not only modeled the switch, but also the screw bus part of it and the holes for these in the panel. Couldn't see if there is actually a nut on those buses happy.png Could go on with the subtle animations, like the way the APU switch springloads... I'm really excited about this upcoming NG wub.png
