Featured Replies

I have been shopping for a new graphics card and have found what i can afford, but i have a question of the more knowledgeable than me:Can't afford a 580 right now so found a EVGA GTX560 - 2048MB - SUPERCLOCKED(GPU - 850Mhz) Efective 4014Mhz (What ever that means) I have also found for a little less a GTX560 TI - 1024 Mhz - SUPRCLOCKED (GPU - 900Mhz)(4212Mhz Effective)Which is the best card or does the 2048Mhz memory say it all? Thanks,

Hey Rick I just went though this process in search for a 560. In fact I put up a very similar post not too long ago. I just purchased my card yesterday after weeks of debating. I finally went with the Asus ENGTX560TI because of the factory overclock, and because I wanted to take advantage of the free shipping and $20 dollar rebate: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121424 Here was similar card that was recommended to me which is a little more popular: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127565 From what I understand, the TI designator comes with better performance. Maybe someone with more knowledge can clear that up. Either way, you can overclock yourself, so going with the lowest priced card shouldn't make a huge difference.

CPU: i7-9700KF stable @ 5.0GHz | MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero | GPU: ASUS GTX 1080 Ti @ stock | RAM: G. Skill Trident Z 32GB (2x16GB) 3200Mhz | PSU: Corsair RM850x 80 Plus | COOLING: Deepcool Castle 240 AIO | PANEL: 27" @ 1080p

Thanks for your input. The reason i ask the quetion is that there is only $4.00 differrence in price and i don't want to just go for the higher memory and then have someone say afterwards, Hey you should have gone for the Ti and that the memory means didley.

The 2 GB memory only comes into play if you run multiple monitors..or insane levels of AA.. For most rigs, the 1 GB card does the job nicely.

Yeah, I GB is fine. If there is only $4 difference, I'd personally go with the TI

CPU: i7-9700KF stable @ 5.0GHz | MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero | GPU: ASUS GTX 1080 Ti @ stock | RAM: G. Skill Trident Z 32GB (2x16GB) 3200Mhz | PSU: Corsair RM850x 80 Plus | COOLING: Deepcool Castle 240 AIO | PANEL: 27" @ 1080p

The Ti is the cheaper card.
I misread.

So the Ti should be a no brainer?
I would personally go with the TI for better performance, especially if it is the cheaper of the two. 2 GB, like it was said, is only useful when running multiple monitors.
