Marc, I have done what you say I have attached 2 screen shots of the console one while on the ground and one in the air.Also the button assignments for FSUIPC are still active, and I don't know how to dissable them. If you check my FSUIPC.ini screen shot from earlier, there are only 2 lines mentioning buttons and I have disabled both of them. But still the assignments work. I have tested LINDA by changing its button assignments but they remain as they were. Phil

Phil,It's not me but well Crum who has asked those screenshots !!!! and please ... follow his instructions now. Marc

It looks like you didn't run the FSX, otherwise there is something TOO strange in your system and FSX installation.If your FSX is running, then show me your fsuipc4.log file. Are you sure you have only one FSX installation? (I have two of them).

Hi Crum, Ran FSX again the console was the same as before attached is the FSUIPC.log
Once again: disable MCP Combo module in LINDA (Setup MCP Combo page). Remove these lines from fsuipc4.ini
[VRinsight]1=com32=com0

And logs are saying that LINDA is loaded and working correctly.Now read the manual about how to assign your joystick's buttons. Don't forget that LINDA should be kept running for joystick's assignments to work.

Have you had a look into the manual???

After that, delete in your FSUIPC4.ini every Joystick-Buttons entry:[buttons] and for every addon, e.g. [buttons.A2A_Spitfire]

Hi guenseli, thanks for joining in, we covered that 7 posts back, as descibed on page 4/25 in the manual. I have also disabled my yoke in FSX. At the moment I am using FSUIPC for my yoke of course it works fine no probs at all. The reason I wanted to use LINDA is that it seemed to promise to simplify setting up the yoke for different aircraft. As I have explained in earlier posts I dont have an MCP combo, I wanted to try LINDA for the reasons I have just outlined. But just my luck lol it hasn't worked out to be simple at all..... Do you have an MCP? or just a yoke? Phil
