ifly 737NG Autopilot wont engage?

Featured Replies

Hi, Whenever I takeoff then try to engage the autopilot for any of my ifly 737 jets the light on the Autopilot switch doesn't turn even if i click on it like millions of time. I tried it on keyboard pressing Z but still not good anybody know how to fix this? Thank You

Do u Have Forward Pressure on Your Joystick Or Yoke?

You beat me to it Jordan. Make sure the aircraft is trimmed for climb and the yoke is perfectly centred (release your hands off the yoke), then press the autopilot button.

I've trimmed it to climb for 1800fps and its to 8,000ft but still when I click autopilot after I let go of joystick it won't engage is there something wrong?

Is there any chance the autopilot disengage bar is down? And both flight directors are on?

The only thing I can think off is your trying to fly it like a default aircraft. Is the IRS aligned and are you able to arm LNAV and VNAV? also what does you FMA tell you?

Of course, many did. Above I gave you a link to the iFly support forum in case you don't know it yet. There are very good ready explanations of what to do if AP is not engaging. Have you had a look yet?Why should we rewrite the explanations here when you can simply go there and check for yourself? Support at iFly is top notch and you will immediately find solutions to all your 737NG problems in one place.
