August 5, 201114 yr the initial post on it says only to download the ptp files to a directory, but it doesnt say which directory, and there doesnt appear to be a manual to refer too.. Could you please tell me where i should put the ptp file for the LM to access it please??ThanksPam,
August 5, 201114 yr The livery manager is covered in the PMDG Introduction document. That said, just place the files wherever you want, they don't have to be in a specific directory.
August 5, 201114 yr Put them anywhere then select the area you unzip to. Also now that the post is up, Im seeing a problem with the manager. I have installed liveries for the -900WL model and they do not show installed in the manager, however they are installed...so says the manager. - Raul Ramirez
August 5, 201114 yr Yeah i have this problem to i have read the instructions on how to obtain a livery but when i press the select livery it does nothing :(
August 5, 201114 yr Pick an aircraft variant first, then click on "Select Livery to Install". If you don't pick a variant, the button doesn't do anything.
August 5, 201114 yr me too Pick an aircraft variant first, then click on "Select Livery to Install". If you don't pick a variant, the button doesn't do anything. Does not work except for the standard pmdg house livery Martin Pampiermole
August 5, 201114 yr I have only noticed this on the -900WL model...i will check the others, there is a total of 50 liveries in all and are as follows: -800:5 -800WL:40 -900:1 -900WL:4 Correct me if i am wrong but i downloaded all the liveries and separated. So this should be the right count i will confirm what the manager counts. It will be a few minutes. - Raul Ramirez
August 5, 201114 yr Does not work except for the standard house livery I'm not sure what you mean about the house livery? Pick "800NGX" in the left pane, then click "Select Livery to Install". A new window opens up, and you should navigate to the folder that contains the .ptp file(s). There is an issue with the 900 paints, and it has been reported.
August 5, 201114 yr I mean the pmdg livery. When I do what you say and i select livery to install, I get a box saying that it is read-only, would you like to remove read-only. No liveries appear in the box, nor a new screen. Martin Pampiermole
August 5, 201114 yr Edited... I'm not sure what the issue is then, Martin. So as soon as you press the "Select Livery to Install" button, you get an error? You never see a new window where you can choose the folder containing the repaints?
August 5, 201114 yr right i open up the livery manager then select the 800ngxwl because i want to install the ryanair paint it goes bing then read only appears
August 5, 201114 yr Just click on "Yes" if you get the read only error. Works fine. Gave me a headache at first as well. Dylan Charles "The aircraft G-limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular airplane. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no G-limits."
August 5, 201114 yr lol ok thank you Just click on "Yes" if you get the read only error. Works fine. Gave me a headache at first as well.TOP GUY IT WORKSWho ever painted the Ryanair livery. WOW she is spot on im very very happy now thanks

These are the counts i see. -8006 -800WL:38 -900:4 -900WL:0 These counts do not inlcude the In-House liveries. Files are redirected to the wrong models. As long as Southwest is not affected, I'm happy. This is just a minor issue I found. - Raul Ramirez
