August 6, 201114 yr Currently flying from KTPA to KBOS, I couldn't figure out how to get VNAV to turn on but I may have not put in everything necessary, and had a rather intense moment when I realized my aircraft was descending from 2,000ft to who knew where, when I realized, I had entered in the crz altitude to 1,800 instead of 18,000... whoops, changed it and added an extra 0. No real problems noticed yet. I did notice though that when I turned on progressive taxi (I'm still learning taxiing) that it doesn't show up. at present I'm getting about 40-50fps, and no jerks or stutters even in Tampa. So far seems like a fun aircraft. :). Hope you all get your problems sorted out soon. Currently using: 739 WL. Patrick Boynton.
August 6, 201114 yr I had the same problem with vnav - it just would not come on in the tutorial, and the same goes for the GOTA invisible button. I may have made a mistake in programming the FMC, although I thought I had followed the instructions, but I will have to try it again tomorrow. Win 7 on an I7 computer with a 5050 graphics card. I did manage to take off, go around and land by hand. I also noticed that some liveries would not install, but the plane is there in the FSX menu, but if I click on the one that did not "install", it crashes the computer. Three of them DID install and work correctly. Henri Henri Arsenault

August 6, 201114 yr TO/GA clickspot is located just below the CRS indicator (there is a screenshot in the tutorial). To get VNAV to work I think you need to have both flight directors on. Mark. Mark CYYZ
August 6, 201114 yr Do you mean TO/GA button? There is not such button I think. I guess you use the N1 button on Takeoff... The TO/GA button is on the throttle levers. Or a hidden spot on the MCP left lower corner (covered in the PMDG NGX Introduction). Or you can as me assign a button to it. Do not use the N1 button. This will not work on the NGX though it will on the 767 (and the 747?). Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
August 6, 201114 yr Thx for the responses, but I did read the manual, and both FDs were on, but the TOGA button shown in the manual does not seem to work. There is no indication of any button there and when I click there nothing happens. I did not press N1, because I don't remember the tutorial saying I should (I could have made a mistake). I did make a change to the route page after I had activated (I had forgotten a slash), and I was unable to find a way to activate again, so I assumed that the change would be recorded automatically. I will try again tomorrow. Henri Henri Arsenault
