August 6, 201114 yr Hi Fellow Simmers, Just did my first flight from EGCC to EDDK and this plane is an amazing piece of work. Anyway to my point, one thing I noticed on landing is that on the sys page it displays brake temps but even after landing and slowing down to taxi speed all temperatures stayed at 0. I'm just wondering if I have missed something here I mean should temperatures read while braking during taxi because at the moment i'm not recieving any figures. Thanks Jason Paver
August 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member Here it said my brake temps were 1.2... Is that 1200 °C? I hope not!!! Maybe I'm blind but I can't find the Lower DU symbology in either set of manuals I have here. Best regards,Robin.
August 6, 201114 yr the scale is not actuaty you temprature,. its just 0 being good and 10 being very bad. August 6, 201114 yr I´m also a bit surprised about the brake temperatures. I did now 3 flights and each time i used Flaps 30, autobrake 2 and idle reverse thrust. After each landing my temperatures were still at 0. Only during taxi when i used manuell braking the temperatures were raising a bit (approx. 0.2). But as I know PMDG, this is probably the real behaviour Simon Leu
August 6, 201114 yr Author Oh right it's a scale that makes sense guess I'll try an rto see if I get some numbers that way. Thanks! EDIT: Just did an rto with manual braking indeed you were correct my brake sensors indicated 4.3 by the time I stopped. Jason Paver
