August 6, 201114 yr As many have said before me, i would like to add my praise for such an excellent a/c. the wait and hype was worth it. No doubt some people have a few "issues" most will be down to finger trouble, or not reading the manual etc but at the end there may be half a dozen bugs that will get sorted in due course it is only to be expected for such a complex programme, however there has never been, in my experience, another a/c released for fsx, that offers such a depth of programming , that can replicate so accurately say 90% of the real aircraft, and yet give better frame rates than all the lesser products ,that is truely impressive.when i look back to the dispair i felt when i first installed fsx , it was rubbish before sp1 and 2! this release makes it all worth whileDeep respect guys !!with teams like you and Orbyx who needs M.S. Flight? However I have an ever so minor gripe, why cant the wing surfaces , or the a/c for that matter be weathered? they are just toooo new and clean i enclose a pic of what i would love to see.
August 6, 201114 yr I hardly ever post in vender's forums, I've never really found it does much good. Usually it's about a problem with the product, and most times the problem never really gets fixed.I do believe however that PMDG is different. Certainly the new B737NGX is different. It is the only FS FMC aircraft that performs as it should. Up until now I generally flew only the older analog aiplanes in FSX simply because the FMCs did not perform as they should. Well, that is no longer the case.In an era were many payware FS products are released, yet unfinished and not anywhere near accurate representations of their real counterpart, I too wish to thank PMDG for a job not only well done, but done with accurate excellence! The parameters are perfect for auto-flight as well as hand flying. This makes the PMDG B737NGX stand alone in the virtual skies of FSX. Thank you PMDG! August 6, 201114 yr Im in full agreement with Nigel. Well said. The 737 is a masterpiece. For me it's PMDG and A2A all the way. Best regards, fly safe! Mark Estes PPL-SEL PA USA [KAVP]
August 6, 201114 yr If I understand correctly, you can make repaints that are weathered like in the picture. I'm sure many many will be doing them.
August 6, 201114 yr If I understand correctly, you can make repaints that are weathered like in the picture. I'm sure many many will be doing them. That is correct, once the paint kit is out I am sure some painters will make just what you are looking for. Mark. Mark CYYZ
August 6, 201114 yr Commercial Member It is up to the painter whether he/she wants the wings to look dirty or not. For the liveries we have done, our painter has weathered the aircraft including the wings to what the real aircraft looks like today. Once the paint kit is released, everybody will have the opportunity to make their airplanes filthy (shudders) - I like my airplanes clean.
