August 8, 201114 yr Where can I find airline options for the NG? Like do they use HUGS, PFD/ND or EFIS, Eyebrows or no eyebrows (I know most are gone now). Stuff like that? I like to fly real routes as closely as I can to the real setup. Just another aviation nerd. Ryan Vanderbrook
August 8, 201114 yr Author I know how to change them, I'm talking about what is the real airline using? Is Southwest using EFIS and digital standby instruments? Does Alaska use the internet antennas? Just minor little details like that. Ryan Vanderbrook
August 8, 201114 yr well, thats another thing.. first of all, airlines like southwest use different configurations (in some rare cases) so you are better off with searching configs from smaller airlines. However, you can figure out most stuff by checking airliners.net for cockpit/exterior pictures of certain airlines. Tebin Ulrich
August 8, 201114 yr And when you go to the FMC and than to the options you could select the equipment configuration of any of your installed aircraft. Or you can restore the configuration from the orginal aircraft. For instance. If you sit in an Alaskan Airlines 737 and you hit the restoring button in the FMC you will have an realistic Alaskan Airlines equipment. :) Best regards Jonathan John Rubens
August 8, 201114 yr Oh yea, i forgot to mention, that the paintkits are connected to configurations so they should be realistic as they are Tebin Ulrich
August 8, 201114 yr Author Sweet thanks guys! Love how fast this community answers. It's awesome Ryan Vanderbrook
August 8, 201114 yr I think with the number of different options available it will be nearly impossible to get every airline's configuration correct. I can only speak for the American Airlines livery that I still had to change some of the things to make it most like our planes. Boeing offered, in my opinion, a ridiculous number of minor options on the 737. I can't tell you how many different airline option things came up in testing. There are still more that are not modeled. It really is overwhelming. Tom Landry
August 9, 201114 yr I would say the best way to figure out the major options is go on airliners.net and check out pictures. For what types of brakes etc.. I have no clue. Steven Herzberg Steven Herzberg, "I rather be flying"
