August 8, 201114 yr Author Ok, but the question was, how do you know this? Maybe you understood my question wrong. When you're programming the Pushback page because you want to be pushed back (obviously), how to you know which distance to enter? I just enter a guessed distance, which isn't always precice at all.Arjen Vandervelde Arjen Vandervelde
August 8, 201114 yr Short answer; you don't know.Trial and error. A good practice is measuring how long your plane is in external view, then put in an arbitrary distance like 50 feet.See how far the plane travels, and then adjust distance again until the plane pushes back exactly 1 plane length. From there you can easily judge distance using the length of your plane. AJ Pongress
