autopilot disengage sound does not stop on landing phase

Hi all,During final phase of landing I disconect the autopilot (push down the disconnect button about 400 ft from touchdown) but the autopilot disengage sound does not stop.Even pressing Z for a secong time does not stop the sound.Any hint? Thanks,Christos

click oh the AP Disco warning annunciator.. That will turn it off..

press the red blinking A/P button in front of you and it will silence :)

You can't switch it off with Z properly.Assign a new Key command within the FMC for example ALT + Z.Then push it twice. The first one will disengage the autopilot and the second one would silence the alarm. The same with Autothrottle-switch.

You should be able to Canx the Horn by pressing the A/P twice. Doesn't seem to work with my NGX though :-(. I fly right handed and it means I have to release my hand to move the mouse and click the Button, sometimes become unstable because of it. Craig

Not sure if this help you or not, but you click on the red flashing AP warning lights on the panel and it stops for me. my problem is that my AP AUTOMATICALLY disengages at the 100ft callout, every time. Is there a setting somewhere for this? If i'm doing an autoland, i'd just rather it go ahead and do the whole thing.
