nVidia inspector HELP!

Featured Replies

Hello all I had a quick question for those that use Nvidia inspector for FSX.Do you have to load and apply the settings every time you boot up your pc? I use a FSX profile that is modified for my setup, but it seems like every time I open the inspector after I start my system the profile is on default not FSX. Is there a way to make the FSX profile default? Or do the settings get reverted back to default every time you open inspector? Thanks!

When you open NI, in the Profiles drop down menu, go to MS Flight Simulator X. Make your changes there, then click on Apply Changes in the upper right corner. Close NI. Next time you open FSX, your changes will be there. In my experience, the only time the mods change is when you update your NVidia driver.

interesting.. so the changes - I mean when you hit apply doesn't change it in real time? you have to exit fsx and then restart in order for the changes to take effect?

Ciao!

Yes, you have to restart the sim if you're making changes to Inspector. But once you're satisfied with your Inspector settings you don't have to bother with it any more, FSX will read and use your profile when you start the sim.

ahhh,.. very good.. LOL... I was trying to fly fsx in windowed mode and to make changes and didn't understand why nothing is changing.. ok then thanks..

Ciao!
