Hot fix---a new problem

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, After having installed the hotfix, something is going wrong for me. After having lined out the 737 on the runway, I switch on VNAV and LNAV. Then I let the engines stabilize at approx. 45% N1. Everything fine. However, as soon as I arm the TO/GA, the VNAV and LNAV lights extinguish (perhaps not the right word), the VNAV and LNAV lights are out., and I can't switch them on again. This happened after having installed the hotfix. Before, everything was OK.Any help is appreciated very muchThanks in advance,Henk Altena

This appears to be normal scenario. They will appear again after 400 agl and you will then see them active in the PFD. You can also connect AP at this time and your climbout will continue automatically. Craig

Craig, Thanks for the answer. You are right. I tried it out, and it works with the hotfix. And....no freezing up until now. Cheers, Henk

Is this supposed to do that (Does it IRL) or is it a bug. Asking because i just got me first panel freeze, and i will maybe install the Hot Fix, but i am afraid it will do more damage than good.
