FSX Head Movement

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the annoying FSX head movement during take off and landing. As soon as I brake I'm looking down at the panel and not out of the window. Thanks, Glen

Go to C:\Users\"you account name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX and open the camera.cfg and change to MomentumEffect = No

Doesn't completely disable it on the main VC view. Trust me guys, we tried everything.

I use Track IR so I dont notice the movement any more with the above line in the camera cfg. I also have this in the FSX.cfg [DynamicHeadMovement]HeadMoveTimeConstant=0.000000LonAccelOnHeadLon=-0.000000LonAccelOnHeadPitch=-0.000000MaxHeadAngle=5.000000MaxHeadOffset=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.000000YawAccelOnHeadLat=-0.000000 I don't really know if it works but I don't notice it now at all.Good for me..... Dan.

I set all [DynamicHeadMovement] values to zero in the fsx.cfg file and it stopped me from putting my head trough the HGS glass every time I land. Hope this helps. Tim Miller

Change the settings mentioned above in the fsx.cfg and you all but eradicate this from FSX... One of the first things I turned off, nice idea mind... reminds me of a form of PC motion sickness! Flying under the influence of Vomex is hard work... LOL.gif Andrew
