Flight1 Cessna 172 on FSX Windows 7 64 bit?

Featured Replies

Hello, I am considering the Flight 1 C172. Is it compatible with FSX on Windows 7 64 Bit? Thank-you for any suggestions.

Thanks,

Yes but I recall an issue which has since been rectified with the config manager. Look at flight1 forums as they are not locked to members - info will be there as I can't remember offhand what the fix was,

I just installed it and I had to run a patch in order to get the config manager work. The patch was for Vista, but it worked. You can find the patch by googling.

Is the Flight1 C172R supported under FSX? The product page only lists FS2004, and if you try to download the 1.6 patch, you see in bold text: "FS2004 Only! "

What product page are you talking about? At the top of the product page on the Flight1 website it says in big bold red letters: "Compatible with FSX and FS9."
