Hello, I have an Radeon HD7870. Since Nvidia cards are a ton better for FSX than AMD/ATI, what nvidia card would my 7870 be equivalent to? Also, the only reason I got an ATI GPU was so I could use eyefinity. Is there a way to set up three monitors with Nvidia? Thanks

I saw Megascenery Earth for Washington, and that would be perfect. But I'm not sure if it includes Point Roberts since it's basically part of Canada. If anyone knows of any sceneries for the Point Roberts area or if anyone has tried megascenery earth, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

It seems like my E190 can't cruise at an altitude higher than FL330 or 340. When I try to cruise at like 370 or even 350, the plane pitches up trying to maintain speed and altitude and it feels like its going to stall and fall out of the sky. Did I miscalculate something or should I just cruise at a lower altitude from now on? Thanks

Thanks. I installed the FMS data for the Wilco 737/777/Legacy and that worked with my v1 e-jets. Would downloading the E-jets v2 FMS data work better?

Thanks Scott. I think the problem was that I took off from a different time zone so I was one hour ahead when I got to socal. I think the best option for me would be to install the fsrealtime software then.

On the navigraph website I only see an update for the e-jets vol. 2. Does anyone know if this is compatible with vol. 1? Thanks

Hi everyone, I have a small issue with my sim. The day ends way too quickly. Its 7:42 here in socal and its still light outside, but on FSX its like pitch black! Is there any way to change this? Thanks Jason

This was my solution: Choose a water theme other than "Sparkling" Hope it works for you too!

I quadruple checked this. It is set to C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X and the FSX.CFG is set to appdata\roaming\microsoft\FSX But also, like I said before, the sky textures and (I think) water textures have been improved. I dont see a change in the airport runway/taxiway/parking textures and the clouds

Yeah all of that is set up correctly I just checked, it all looks fine. :/

Hi guys, hopefully you can help me out. I installed REX Overdrive, chose my themes to install, installed them, and went through the whole procedure of setting it up. When I started up the game, I saw default airport textures and default cloud textures that looked nothing like the themes that I selected on REX. I did see that the sky and water textures were improved, but the clouds and airports were not. I tried reinstalling the themes multiple times with no results. All I can think of is maybe this add-on called "FSX booster" that I have which tweaks the FSX.cfg to improve FPS. However, in the FSX booster settings I enabled " High Definition textures (REX etc.)" so i'm not sure. I've had REX installed on this computer before with the same set-up so I don't know what is causing the problem now. Thanks.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to easily remove the Saitek yoke handle and replace it with a custom one. I was thinking of creating an Embraer style yoke handle and maybe mounting it on the saitek. It seems like its just a plastic handle attached to a piece of metal? How hard do you think it would be to remove it without damaging the aileron/elevator functionality?Thanks!Jason

Hey I'm having a serious unstable FPS issue also. The Poolsize in my fsx.cfg is set to 50000 for some reason. Is that gonna cause a problem?

Hi, hopefully someone can help me out. I lost the aircraft_viewer_background.bmp in the Uires folder and I never made a backup :( . I googled for the file, but nobody had one for download. It would be great if someone could get me the original FSX file because I can't find it anywhere!Thanks!Jason
