August 18, 201114 yr Please can someone tell me what's with the pogo stick? seems like its been a long running joke here at the forums and I hate being left out . Thanks. Nanjul J. Dakat
August 18, 201114 yr its a fully FAA certified pogo stick rated for use upto and including 41000ft. However crews must be trained on correct useage and it must not be used during extended ETOPS or single FMC operations as it might upset the navigation systems. If the Pogo stick should fail please refer to the QRH for steps to correct it. August 18, 201114 yr No, the reason it can't be used on ETOPS flights is that it would go "splash splash splash" instead of " Boeing Boeing Boeing" you silly Kerry W.
