Captain Sim 767 LNAV problem

Featured Replies

Hello, I am experiencing a problem with the CS 767's LNAV. I programmed the FMC, however when I takeoff and turn the Autopilot and LNAV on, that aircraft starts rocking from side to side. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kevin L

Does it correct when you disengage and quickly reengage the AP? I had to roll back to an earlier version of FSUIPC and that fixed the problem. I don't think Captain Sim has completely broken the code on FSUIPC and that has been the source of some of the issues some people experience. I don't know why some versions would act better than others, but it does seem to be the case. The 767 is the only one I have seen this kind of rocking on, i.e. immediately upon turning AP on. PM me for further info,

This has been covered several times in the Unofficial Captain Sim Forum here at AVSIM. If the FSUIPC is not installed properly, the rocking will definitely happen. You should run a repair by double-clicking on the setup program and selecting repair when the options are shown. Best regards,Jim
