August 18, 201114 yr Has anyone else had problems with their auto brakes not shutting off on rollout under 80 knots? I read the manual and pressed my rudder pedals to full braking twice in rapid succession and nothing happens, the aircraft comes to a full stop. The brake axis assignments are through FS, and not FSUIPC as advised. August 18, 201114 yr I had also this problem three days ago landing at Zurich Kloten. I armed autobrakes 1, then I could not disarm them and I completely stopped at half runway long :)I was lucky no aircrafts were landing in that moment :)Then I could disarm brakes but for the entire taxi route to the gate I was not able to brake the aircraft.Bye. Install the latest hotfix fellas. it fixes it. Kind Regards, Dan Wela
August 18, 201114 yr Author I just bought the plane yesterday evening I still have to apply the hotfix, I thought the installer would have been updated. August 18, 201114 yr If you have the spoiler armed to deploy on touchdown, along with auto brakes, stowing the spoiler after decel will disarm the auto brakes as well. When I land (brakes/spoiler armed), I hit the reversers and decel to 80kts, or even more if it's a short field, then close reversers and stow the speedbrake....the simultaneous release of the auto brakes is very noticeable if you're in VC mode and using the HUGS. I usually have enough momentum left to smoothly turn off the runway. Scott Burns

August 18, 201114 yr Very interesting, thanks a lot!Is it the same behaviour as in real? Not a RL pilot, so I don't know for sure. What I do know, as an interested passenger, is that it seems like the same thing occurs in RL. Upon landing, I've observed speed brake deployment, heavy braking, and reversers. The moment the spoilers drop, all sensation of heavy deceleration ceases. I wish I could remember the airport...perhaps it was Athens...but we came in for landing, decelerated, turned off the runway and wheeled right up to the gate in one fail swoop with very little actual taxi power being applied, lol. Edit - Should mention that the auto brakes disarm for me when manually applying more braking force than the auto braking system is (usually when I see a potential overshoot coming on a short field and I panic, lol). August 18, 201114 yr Maybe its a FSX Bug and not a PMDG ones ;) Read the tutorial .... due to fsx , due to fsx .... never something like " oh wie did something wrong " .... fsx bug ... and so on. Dont open a ticket @ pmdg : you wont get an answer. They dont like it to be confrontated with their self-made mistakes. They said: We will publish a product with no bugs , thats why it took so much time. No bugs .. What happend in the beta-test and the wide-beta test? No one wanted to load a flight in approach phase ?! Homemade bugs. No real beta-test.But, we have been waiting for years / ages ^^. ###### happens.^^ But remember what they said: " No bugs .... " ....... Sebastian Meyer
