August 19, 201114 yr Moderator Great. So now I buy ASE and configure it. Tomorrow I will go along REX 2.0 because I need plenty of time to download that giant! Also, when you install the REX clouds in 1024 make sure to use the DXT versions and not the 32bit versions. The 32bit might kill you. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 20, 201114 yr Author Hi, again! I installed both programs and they run very well. However I have one question about best resolutions in REX 2.0 options menu. There are three options: 3D clouds, cirrus clouds and water resolutions. As I understand your previous advice applied to 3D clouds resolution only so how I should set remaining two options? I can explain cirrus resolutions available are 1024x1024, 512x512 and water resolutions are 1024x1024, 512x512, 256x256. I'd like to get similar FPS level like with 1024x1024 resolution set for 3D clouds.
