Christos, Not sure why you want a comparison if you don't own either the 747 for FSX or the NGX but from I have read here if the 747 for FSX runs well enough on your system so will the NGX. At least I hope so as the 744X runs well on my lower end laptop and I would like to think the NGX will do just as well. Gerry my specs - Toshiba Dual core 2.66 cpu, 4gb RAM, NVIDIA GT230 video (1Gb), 15.4 screen running Orbx SP4, and MyTraffic, REX V2 (no weather).

Think again.

The NGX and 744x are in completely different class. I get locked 30 in the 744x VC at AS EGLL. I struggle to get 15 in the NGX VC

I find the NGX very good on FPS. Around YMML I get around 30, cos its locked there and around Aerosoft Madeira I get 30 locked. So its very stable.

Alex, Could you elaborate a little? ("think again"). Gerry
The 747X and MD-11 run beautifully. The NGX does not. For me at least.

The PMDG 747-400X is the biggest FPS hog of the 3 PMDG planes I have. (NGX-MD11-747). If you can run the 747-400 you can run the NGX. At least in 2d panel view which is what I use. Virtual Cockpit is a whole new ball game and I only use it in the air. But then again Im using an old quad-core and not the next gen sandy bridge.
