August 25, 201114 yr Hello, nowadays I'm experiencing so heavy FPS drops when I cancel landing. It doesn't depends weather I hit TO/GA or just increase thruse and hit LVCH. Everytime I suffer doing that.. normal FPS is 25-30 for default sceneries, when I change attitude for missed approach, it drops almost 5-10.It recovers after a few minutes, but definitely annoying. Is this the only problem for me or NGX?Wish would be fiexed soon.. Peter Chang
August 25, 201114 yr I also get very low FPS when i GA, it happens at random times too which i need to look into a little more. Simon Roberts
August 25, 201114 yr I had this too when returning to an airport after take off. I don't know I'd it is a FSX problem or not, seemed to be something to so with the airport scenery as when I looked away for a few seconds FPS returned. This did however continue all the way down, I had to "hide" under the glaresheild and do an autoland at 4 FPS.Dan.
August 25, 201114 yr Not a problem for me - I follow the Asian Pilots rule of thumb - never too high never too fast. Andy Brockbank
August 26, 201114 yr Had to do my first missed approach just now in Orlando, and I saw the same thingwhen I hit the TO/GA button..Chopped my frame rate in half the instant I pressed TO/GA.. Almost seemed to be FMCrelated in some way..?? The frame rate stayed low until I landed and the plan cleared fromthe FMC. The instant the plan cleared from the FMC, the frame rate went back to normal.Wasn't scenery related or the act of doing the go around in itself. It was when Ipressed the TO/GA button for throttle that it kicked in. Not sure what was dragging it down.I never see this when using the TO/GA button on takeoffs. But I sure did doing a missedapproach. Whacked my frame rate way down.M Keith Mark Keith
August 26, 201114 yr Did anyone report this to PMDG via a support ticket? Then there will be a chance it will be fixed in the SP1. Daniel Verhaal
August 26, 201114 yr I haven't yet. I figured they are ultra busy right now with the more serious issues, andI didn't want to bug them until things slow down a tad..Also.. in theory, if it's posted here, they should see it and add it to the list.I just noticed it last night.. I don't have to do very many missed approaches.. :)But I got vectored too close to MCO last night and was above glide slopewhen time to do the ILS. Too high to make the landing and I had to go around.. :(But I saw what the others saw when I hit the TOGA...Whacked my frame rate down to a slide show.. "6-9 fps was the average onmy girly man hardware." I'm usually in the mid teens around a big airport. Mark Keith
