August 25, 201114 yr Plenty of folks appear to be able to run the NGX on systems similar to yours without trouble, so you should be good to go. Plenty of tips in here also. I run a lowly 32-bit Vista system, with a fair number of add-ons, without any OOM's...and I run FSX non-stop for days in a row sometimes. :D Scott Burns
August 25, 201114 yr With 64 bit windows you should be fine. I've never gotten an OOM yet on my laptop... August 26, 201114 yr OOM's are mainly a function of too high of scenery settings. I get them a lot with the NGX but I've finally sacrificed my eye candy for no OOM's hehe. I ran almost max settings with custom LOD edits, which was creating the overwhelming vram saturation... creating OOM's. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

August 26, 201114 yr Great! Welcome to the International Association of NGX Addicts. Hopelessly addicted and loving every minute. The OOM issues are unrelated to the NGX. I had them and was able to fix the problem and it was totally unrelated to the NGX. It never had anything to do with OOM errors. Robert Yunque
August 26, 201114 yr I'm rocking a Quad Core 6600 at 2.4, 4 gigs of ram and not much else amazing. I run somewhat high settings and get around 15 FPS in the VC and around 30 ish with outside view. I'm happy with it, but to each their own. My laptop has an i5 and it runs great on it. Ryan Stowers
August 26, 201114 yr The only way I can do an OOM is if I try to run too much scenery. After a while, thememory is tapped, and the sim will just vanish... :/But as long as I run the scenery at a lower level, no problems..I have been flying the plane all over the country, and not a single glitch sincethe 2nd patch, and no glitches since the third patch either.Best FS jet ever.. hands down.. Makes the default 737-800 look like aFisher Price toy as far as the systems.Mark Keith Mark Keith
