August 30, 201114 yr I can confirm this. This is what FCOM v2 says about the stall warning test: STALL WARNING TEST SwitchesPush – on ground with AC power available: each test switch tests its respective stall management yaw damper (SMYD) computer. No.1 SMYD computer shakes Captain’s control column, No.2 SMYD computer shakes First Officer’s control column. Vibrations can be felt on both columns•inhibited while airborne. Cristi Neagu
August 30, 201114 yr Author How write Cristi, according FCOMv2, "Push – on ground with AC power available", but there is not reference to wait until FMC IRS information is entered. The question/problem is open! Israel D' Oleo Ochoa
August 30, 201114 yr I read somewhere that AC Power has to be on about 4 min. I usually just do my walk-around first and when I come back the stick shaker test works perfectly. Rgeards, Chris Volle Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.
August 30, 201114 yr I don't think this is correct behavior. In the plane, I test the stall before I even have the IRS set to NAV or the position in the FMC. Matt Cee
