It supports 1333, 1600, 1866, and 2133 no problem. Just a matter of selecting the speed in the bios.

Of course, if I buy 1600 I can´t select 2133 in the bios, right? :P harpsi

There's always the possibility that you can OC your 1600MHz memory to 2133. It will just require loosening the timings a bit. My memory will run perfectly stable at both 2133 CL9 and 1600 CL7. How about this set?

It says that the adequate chipset is P67 and there is no mention to Z68 Mobos... Is that a problem or can I use it as well with Asus Z68 Pro? I have already seen that link which I found a good memory as well... harpsi

P67 vs Z68 - makes no difference

Let me see if I understood as a conclusion of your thread: if I buy 1600MHz CL7 I can still overclock this memory which will come to 2133MHz (perhaps... Praying.gif ) and will still stay at a lower CL, like 7; if I buy 2133MHz CL9 I will be already at the maximum but with a higher latency. LOL.gif harpsi

Not quite - you will have to increase the latency from 7 to 9.

So, doesn´t matter which memory I choose, with the disadvantage that being a newbie (like me!), I will have more work, not just overclocking the processor but also overclocking the memory. Well, it can be a serious problem... LOL harpsi
It makes a bery big difference what case you choose? Space is good but what means "quality" in this case? harpsi
Corsair quality is top notch but CoolerMaster is far from bottom. On my HAF its is as solid as a rock, hardly any plastic in sight, complete tooless design and they are not called CoolerMaster for nothing cos the airflow is something else.

I found this one in the shop I will buy the computer: 4096MB DDR3 1600 2X240 DIMM CL7 CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT+FAN I5. Of course I would buy 2 sticks. Is this a good one? harpsi

Hi That shop doesn´t have any Corsair cases to sell at the moment. Could someone write here a list of the 3 to 5 best cases at the moment so that I can see if they have one of them available? Tks. harpsi

Excluding corsair:1: Coolermaster HAF X2: Coolermaster CosmoS3: Coolermaster Storm Sniper4: Coolemaster 9325:Antec 1200

Coolermaster. They are very, very good but you could also take a look at Silverstone's cases. Probably not the ones with the 90 degree motherboard mounting holes but any of the other ones.

The corsair or the HAF X. The HAF X has better airflow, but the corsair looks better (IMO)
