There is one rather obscure solution for the stutters, if they are VERY severe, which you might wish to attempt. Sometimes for no apparent reason (in my experience) you need to fiddle in the BIOS to change the way it deals with SATA. If it's set to run at AHCI at the moment, then try setting it to run at IDE; if set for IDE, set it to run at AHCI; if neither works, you might have different options to play with. Otherwise, double-check your PSU is adequate, though I'm sure it is. Apart from that, you seem to have exhausted everything. Overclocking, in particular, will improve fps and/or smoothness but it won't solve severe stutters. It's just possible that you've got a bad MB and/or CPU (I'd have suspected the RAM but you say you changed this). Tim
