Not in Data Base?

Featured Replies

I'm flying to KSAN right now and I decided to step through my flight plan using the PLAN feature, then returned to normal use. I tried to upselect a leg on the LEGS page in order to do a Direct to and then I got an error saying Not in Data Base on the FMS. Is that normal? And how do I fix it?

Are you trying to add a fix or going direct to another fix already in the FP?

Going direct to fix in FP. I fixed it just be reloading the arrival but that was really strange. I couldn't select any fixes

If you want to use a waypoint that is not in the database you can make it aPlace-Bearing/Distance or Place-Bearing/Place-Bearing waypoint.

Frederic, yeah I know. The issue was that it was not letting me upselect legs that I already had in the FP. I think it was a tiny bug. Just fixed it by reloading the arrival. Haha.

If you try to go direct to a fix already in your plan / CDU then it shouldnt tell you "Not in Database". Def sounds like a bug

Frederic, How do you do that?
