I have not had any problems with panel freezes or CTD's when I don't use the FMS. Although, one outa five flights when I use the FMS, I get a freeze. Here is a repeatable situation that has been able to create a panel freeze every single time. FMS set up for 2 to 4 hour flight along Jet routes and in Cruise. Everytime I press the execute button after changing the destination in the route page I will get a panel freeze, then if I continue to try and operate the CDU a CTD will occur in roughly 15 seconds. Regardless of whether I use addons or don't use addons, the above will always cause a Panel Freeze. I'm not gonna take a guess at what it is, but I was hoping someone else can try this and see if they can get it to do the same. I posted something similar in another post. I just tried to do a flight SVMI-KMIA , on the climb out on the SID MARES1 dep, i altered the SID a bit by deleting Mares and going to the other fix. 5 minutes after doing that i got the panel freeze.My other previous crash was TNCM-KMIA right after the TOD, i started to go through the FMC checking out the legs and making sure the speeds and altitudes were correct. After minimizing the FMC i got a crash about 5 minutes after.... How many have had panel freeze right after using the FMC

Had a freeze after 40 minute night flght while preparing to land. I departed RJOK for an airport in Korea. I loaded up the weather with thunderstorms, wind, low clouds and heavy rain. All went great until I was preparing to land. I depressed something in the FMC and the whole thing froze up. I did the Hotfix 3 yesterday and had two nice clean flights.
