  1. Yes im aware that it needs time to spool up, but not 6-8 seconds for the reverse doors to open
  2. This seems to be a matter that has been discussed but i havent come across a solution. I lust landed in KMDW winds are 04013G17KT so i increased my Vref to 134 ( 1/2 of 13 + 4) Auto Brake level 3. Ok.... App was manual. At 50feet i reduced trottles to idle to allow a touchdown at vref. As soon as the main gear touched i decided instead of pulling the trottles back to reverse ill use F2. ( ive been having this problem if i use the trottles, thats why i decided to try F2.) The Auto brake engaged as normal, however by time the reversers were deployed i was at 68kts. I had 6 seconds between touchdown and reverse selected to "reverse green". Could someone plz tell me whats wrong? This has only happend since SPc. I never wrote about it because i guess like the others, im hoping that a solution would have come forth before. 3. HI guys, this is a long over due post, but i needed to be sure. my last 3 attempts doing a flight KATL-KDCA during the Descent checklist FSX crashes. Last 3 flight during this specific action. about two weeks ago i updates the new sounds and forgot to back them up. I realised that i wasn't getting any voice or sounds from the PMDG so i uninstalled the PMDG, FS2Crew and did a system restore. I reinstalled everything including the SP's ( all). Since then the 3 flights ive attempted has crashed during descent check list. Any takes on this? Sean
  4. Same here. Did a flight in the 800, KMIA_KDCA.. froze 30 minutes during cruise on firday. Yesterday KMDW KBUF, froze during decent. I had this problem before SPb was released. SPb fixed it, now upgrading to SPc the problems have started againSean
  5. Thanks Zach. to move from 22-24 is literally millimeters for my trottle. Im a RW dash 8 pilot, flew 737 in the sim. if u figure anything out let me know. and vice versa Spranger
  6. Zach and Martin, i have the same problem. What i've realised is full weight or empty it take the same trust to move the a/c. If it is indeed a setup issue, when u guys figure it out let me know. spranger
  7. monitor the forums before u buy. Look at all the Hot topics and make up your mind after. Sprangerjack
  8. I posted something similar in another post. I just tried to do a flight SVMI-KMIA , on the climb out on the SID MARES1 dep, i altered the SID a bit by deleting Mares and going to the other fix. 5 minutes after doing that i got the panel freeze. My other previous crash was TNCM-KMIA right after the TOD, i started to go through the FMC checking out the legs and making sure the speeds and altitudes were correct. After minimizing the FMC i got a crash about 5 minutes after.... How many have had panel freeze right after using the FMC
  9. What i've found out with my NGX, is my freeze occurs either before TOD or right after. And it usually happens when im going through the FMC to make sure my fixes are correct, ETA ect.On my system the freeze doesnt seem to have anything to do with complex sceneries. I dont have much. For example, default KMIA scenery and i've have many freezes on app into MIA.I do sympathize with all those who have posted with frustration. I think the sad part about this forum is when you make a post that seems to be critical of PMDG, there seems to be a barage of resposnes shooting down the original poster. I know there are a few that do go overboard, but trust me, spending almost $70.00 and not to be able to complete a flight, i do understand where the frustration comes from.I have Put the NGX on the back burner for now and have returned to the compeition. The NGX is a great a/c but not to complete a flight kills everything else about the a/c in my opionion.I monitor the forum everyday so i guess when a real fix is out and other members have approved it ill try again. 10. I've been fortunate to get a sim training in a 737, and flew many jump seats in the 737-200. I still feel that the depth perception is off. I just feel way to low . I understand that everything comes out of the boeing doc... not disputing that, on my PC that im using, thats just how it is to me.... spranger
  11. Good evening guys, I think the PMDG is a long awaited milestone in the flight sim community. I think what we are seeing here is a new era in flight simulation. Congrats again PMDG. While i congratulate i must make some constructive criticism. As a real worl pilot i think the depth perception from the 737 cockpit is too low. I feel like im scraping along the tarmac at 2 ' and not 15' up. Taxiing is hard to control, maybe it's my satiek trottle, dont know, but i barely move the trottle up to 24 N1 and the a/c takes off like a nascar> ZFW was 132k lbs. way too much power, this shouldnt be. During the takeoff, the auto trottle moves way to quick and the take off run is too quick. There are a few more but i see they have already been posted Like i said this is just my 2 cents. When i had FS9 the PMDG was one of my favorites, thats why i can make these comparison clearly and honestly. I dont care much about the eye candy ( ground support ect) what i want is an a/c that has dynamics like the real thing. There is another 737 out there that seems to be giving PMDG some competition. PMDG you have a reputation of giving us the best, please continue to do such. Spranger
  12. Well guys, since ending of last year i've been talking about this performance leak. After reading all these post, it seems that both high end and low performance users are experiencing the problem. The performance leak tends happen when :1. Long flights2. Approaching TOD3. Approach checklistand4. Landing Checklist. My performance drops so much that the landings are impossible.I've tried flight w/o fs2crew and no problems. I've tried short routes eg Kmco-Kjax, no problems.I've tried africa flights with no 3rd party scenery, and i get the same problems.I've sent my specs, you say i need to upgrade, but i've read post with guys with way better specs than mine, but they have the same problem.I'm willing to try to help solve the problem but it seems it's something that only u can solve bryan.Hope we can get to the bottom of this.Sean
  13. With regars to Squawk box, is there anyway to include a key button instead of leaving the Mic open? Conversing with ATC, the F/O tends to do things that is not needed. Also with an open mic,the F/O hears everything and sometimes makes un needed changesSean
  14. Bryan with all due respect, removing the post about the performance leak and locking you last post is totally rude, especially for us paying costumers. im of the view that the forum was for us to post our pro's and con's about the product. This would be benefical not only for those who have bought this product but for prospective buyers. I guess you are trying damage control, however when we post our recommendations or what we have been trying to tweak on our machines to make this great add on to work, im sure that many of the readers are getting something good. Before I got into FS2crew I spent a good amount of time reading through the posts trying to make up my mind whether i should purchase the product. By removing the post and asking individuals to email you personally, i think it's a mistake. It takes away freedom to intereact with other users of fs2crew.Im sure just like myself, the other readers are trying to help as much as possible to help this great product to become even better, but censoring us just wont it. I sense the frustration from many of the posters about the drop in framerate, just like myself. You said that it's only a few of us with the problem. However that may not be accurate. If i have the same problem, why should i post the same thing that many have already posting? Just to say that i posted it? No! If i see that a problem has been posted i would continuously check the forum to see if any recommendations have been posting. You asking us to email you personally, i would assume that your response would be personally also, which doesn't help the novice out there.I hope you understand the way i feel and repost the thread.Sean
