The external limiter gives you a few additional frames, but expect more stutters and more blurries. I now lock FSX at 30 and enjoy smooth flight with sharp textures.

Same here except I have mine set at 35. I once had it set at 'Unlimited' and saw anti-aliasing was absolutely horrible, especially on the wings (looked like a buzz saw blade)(whatever that looks like). When I changed it to 35 and returned to FSX, the anti-aliasing issue was almost gone. I think FSX was developed with limiting FPS vs unlimited frames. I don't know what those guys over at Orbx PNW did with the scenery textures but they are much, much better than the default and GEX - Advanced. The developers of GEX did an excellent job improving the default textures though. The Orbx textures are always crisp and clear for me though and I can't always say that for the GEX textures. I found putting less stress on your video card display drivers and FSX configurations is the best as it produces the fastest rendering. Best regards,Jim Best regards,Jim

Not sure about the stutters - I see much less with external locker, but more blurries with addon scenery. I don't notice it so much with stock stuff.
