FSX Plane won't restart

Featured Replies

I noticed that if I park my plane at gate for prolonged period, everything will shut down on its own.The displays will go black, lights would turn off, and I cannot restart the plane with either Shift M orCtrl E.Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Check your fuel levels, whenever I can't start a plane it's because of zero fuel.

Dead battery. Turn off your master switch or if you have FSUIPC you can set it for unlimited battery life. Vic

so there actually is a battery life simulated in fsx? I thought there may be... ive had this issue before as well... it seems that the battery dies unnaturally quick... ive had it die in a matter of mins which kinda seemed unnaturaly fast. is there any way to make it have more watt/hrs without actually making it last forever?

Yup, this is a known glitch in FS, the battery goes flat quickly, but you can set FSUIPC to extend the battery life, which solves the problem but I'm not sure it makes it completely simulate the real thing's exact battery life. Al

... you can fix it by adding this to the aircraft's cfg file:- [Charging]Charger_12volt=0Charger_24volt=1TrolleyAcc=0 // Set this to 1" if RAF airfield. Whistle.gif
