So i think the title says it all. I have a bit of a problem, Ai traffic is lining up for 33R and 15L at the same time. i did not change the wind direction (except for in the initial free flight setup). I noticed that ATC is only giving taxi and departure clearance for 15L, but there is quite a line for take offs on the 33R end of the runway as well. In fact, right as i lifted off of 15L I noticed an MD80 heading straight on for me landing 33R. What on earth is going on?? Please help me out folks! Thanks,Mitch Bowman

Not really related to PMDG, but I have noticed especially when using REX BEFORE the weather is updated planes will start to taxi to one runway, but then once the weather is updated they will use the other runway, this can be solved by resetting the AI traffic... You could have an AFCAD problem, do you have any add on scenery?

I just use REX overdrive for Textures Only and Weather is disabled. Not sure if REX has an option like Activesky. In Activesky there is a button option (Refresh AI Traffic). That is supposed to solve the problem your having. REX weather has never been very realistic or accurate. Some day when you have the money you might want to look into ActiveSky. It's the best and most realistic you can get as far as weather generation goes. In the meantime you might try adding this updated AFCAD for KIAH Airport and see if that helps any. Read the install .txt so you put the files in the right place. http://library.avsim...ftp&DLID=133993

I think the point is that this is the NGX forum (hence the name), and lately folks like yourself have deemed it acceptable to seek support for things completely unrelated to the NGX and other PMDG products in these forums. Sorry, I'm just acknowledging the "elephant in the room".

I think the support issue here is not that aircraft are taking off on crossing runways, but that you are using FSX without addons. Default weather? Default AI? Default textures? Why are you doing this to yourself?
