After I installed HF4, and finally got my aircraft.cfg files updated, everything was going along just great. Smooth VC, no CTD, panel freezes, fps seemed a little better, just enough new stuff to keep it interesting, etc. But when I looked at an outside view to get the jetway to come to the doors, and I noticed the only things showing were the wings, front doors, airstairs, nose cone, and the secret PMDG cockpit box. It's really not the classic "skeleton" because there are just a few parts visible. I tried reloading several times at different locations, no help. I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't figure it out. Little help, please? TIA Dennis

Are you using ez-dock to move around? What you're seeing is what's modeled for the vc. Cockpit (that box) and a few external items visible from the flight deck.If you want to see the external model you'll have to switch to a standard external view

Yes, I am using EZCA. What have I done wrong? I'd like to fix this.

Somehow the view you switched to is actually a vc view with the eyepoint moved outside the plane. Try reinitializing ezdock. If that doesn't work you'll probably have to set up a new external camera

You forgot to run the config tool in the EZCA program folder that automatically adds the required entries to the aircraft.cfg. You need to do that with every new aircraft that you install in order for the external views to work properly.

That is what I was referring to when I mentioned initializing the ezca software

That was it!! Funny thing ... I installed/reinstalled HF4 five times yesterday, and each time ran the configurator. The last time, I simply forgot. My brain is fried. I knew it was something simple. Thanks Ken and Patrick.
