important problem

In all flight simulator history the PMDG 737 NGX is the most perfect airplane. Probably with all corections it will be enough to train real life pilots. Thinking about it its good to remember the problem with the IVAP needs to be solved. I don't know if it's PMDG or IVAO that needs to fix it, but its irritating all the pilots that fly in multiplayer mode. Doe anyone agree? Ticiana

There were some rumors going around that Mr. Dowson was working on a version of FSUIPC more compatible with the NGX. We'll see how that works, but it would be good to see a Simconnect version of IVAP. But, as Jason said, this is not PMDG's problem. The means of connection are there, but IVAP has a funny way of getting to them.

In the thread dealing with that particular problem, I'm sure that everyone just wanted an opinion of PMDG about this, as no one knows where it comes from. Why asking PMDG ? Imho because they give answers rapidly, when it takes centuries by IVAO IT staff to deal with such problems. The possible cause of a MS update the day of the NGX release has never been put into scope until now

PMDG did say that developers can submit their applications to them to see if they're NGX compatible, And, tough i'm not sure, I think they said that they would give constructive feedback on them. I wonder how many developers actually took advantage of this offer?

I think PMDG are polite enough, and professional enough, to never answer that question. "Don't ask and don't tell" at its best :)
