September 29, 201114 yr Hi, one simple question! when works the auto brakes. only by a autoland or also by a manual landing with the autopilot off. thanks jan
September 29, 201114 yr Author Thanks! and the RTO. After 90 Knots?and what could be the reason that the autobrakes are not kick in? could it be that the throttle are not exactly in the idle position? i had problems with the hardware i use. thanks
September 29, 201114 yr Autobrakes will not engage if the throttles in the NGX aren't pulled back to idle. That means that you must do one of two things: 1. Disengage AT before pulling the throttle to idle;2. Enable in the CDU, for AT override, either "Always" or "HOLD/ARM mode only" (you will have to figure it out yourself because I can't remember the options exactly). Cristi Neagu

September 29, 201114 yr Was it 90 knts ? I thougt 80... If the takeoff is rejected after reaching a wheel speed of 90 kts, maximum braking is automatically applied when the forward thrust levers are retarded to IDLE. Matt Cee
