January 20, 200422 yr Currently we are busy creating a new Flight Simulator group named Business Aircraft Simulation (B-A-S). As the name already prevails our goal is to create business jets for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This with the highest quality and realism. An important rule at B-A-S is that the opinion of the user of the product should be heard and followed. Therefore it is possible to vote which aircraft you would like to see made by us. We have created a voting poll consisting out of two rounds. In the first (and current) round you will be able to vote on the company which makes your aircraft. In the second you will be able to vote aircraft specific. The aircraft with most votes will be used to make a high quality Flight Simulator product. The group is currently also looking for some members to join the group. For the current openings and to vote go to http://home.wanadoo.nl/gooisekust/basWith regards,Norman van der Meijden
January 20, 200422 yr I can't believe that nobody responded to this yet!!! I am totally pumped about this! Glad to see you are taking on business aircraft, anything besides another A-bus or Boeing project is a breath of fresh air in the community!!! I'd love to be a Beta tester, but that's about as useful as I can be. In any case, I'm very excited about your announcement and look forward to seeing your work!!!
January 21, 200422 yr I am answering here rather than using the voting gizmo, as what I want is not represented in your list of aircraft.I would be willing to pay for a high-quality product that models one of the following "light jets":* Safire* Cessna Mustang* Eclipse 500* Adam A700I am most interested in the Safire right now, mostly because I've seen an image of the panel on the Avidyne web site.My hot buttons, in order, for a payware aircraft are as follows:- flight model- 2D panel quality- use of custom gauges as needed- VC quality- use of standard FS9 switchology protocols where possible, and keystroke-driven control of other controls as needed (I will not buy another aircraft that forces me to use the mouse to control stuff). I just purchased the FSD Navajo over the weekend and I'm pretty irritated that some of the controls have to be clicked on, at least as far as I can tell (e.g., battery switch). I want to use my GoFlight hardware to control these things.- external visual model- animationSo there you have it. I know I'm probably in a minority by putting animation and the visual model last, but I want realism in the cockpit over everything else. Build something like what I've described, price it right, and I'll be one of the first people in line to buy it.thanks for listening,Dave Blevins System: Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 mobo *** i7 2700K @ 5gHz w/ Corsair H80 cooler NVidia GTX 570 OC *** 8 GB 1600 Corsair Vengeance DRAM *** CoolerMaster HAF X case System overclocked and tuned for FSX by fs-gs.com Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick/throttle & CH Products Pro Pedals Various GoFlight panels *** PFC avionics stack
January 21, 200422 yr Step out a little and do a turboprop like FSD did. PMDG is trying it out. I personally think that a turboprop model is what separates the men from the boys is FS design. If you can pull off one of those, you'll have established your rep. (IMHO)Sorry, couldn't hold it in until your new vote comes up!
January 21, 200422 yr There was is a thread in the Eaglesoft forums regarding what they may do after the Citation X; and the Hawker was mentioned. So, maybe, cross your fingers, this is on the short list over at Eaglesoft.Jim
January 21, 200422 yr I'd love to see a good old Sabre busines jet. If you're going to do a turboprop, I vote for a Gulfstream I.
January 21, 200422 yr Mike Stone has a pretty good Sabre on his website. I also replaced his panel with a great one here, just do a search.Craig
January 21, 200422 yr Hi Norman,I want to point out a mistake in your list of Companies:You include Learjet, which is not a company.Learjets are manufactured by Bombardier, which is included in the list.ReardsStamatis
January 21, 200422 yr I want to second the vote for a TBM 700C!!!! Haven't seen one in FS since 98' as I recall. That would be completely original and much better than my previous idea!
January 21, 200422 yr Here, Here, I like the Gulfstream idea, add a vote to that one!!! J R (Jason R MYNN) General Aviation Nut FSEconomy Pilot
