I guess posting an actual release date or year is better than saying "when it's done". That would leave too many people guessing.

For a long time the AVSIM's forum was, maybe still it is, the most serious source of informations and more. Ok it's a topic, don't know if it's true or not but the comments from you who want to kill their time, it's making it ridiculous. So please if you want to share some news do it, otherwise don't leave your ridiculous comments instead.

So do you guys reckon the box for Flight is genuine? As for the February release date, it sounds realistic. D'you think maybe MS announced something recently which made the release date on the page change?

There is some chance it's just an initial box cover...that will be revisited and adjusted.But it is certain it is part of a kit provided by MS.The observation that the art comes from the web image is meaningless really.That image is part of the product branding.The box, the site, and any media, share elements of the brand.Retailers just aren’t in the business of making box art.But they are in the loop...towards the end of a project a lot effort goes into courting retailers.

How about: If you don't want to read ridiculous comments don't read these threads? Now, so I remain serious here is a job posting that MIGHT tell us that Flight is STILL alive and that it is NOT going to be released anytime soon or in the EARLY part of 2012. http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/#news-hiring Now, is this serious enough for some of you?

Maybe it's because I'm an American (U. S. of A.), but I shudder a bit every time I see someone posting a demand or request that wants to limit or inhibit a conversation. I visit here on a regular basis and am able to decide for myself what forums and threads I want to read. If the content isn't what I want to see, I don't revisit that thread in the future. For those that advocate some type of suppression upon the content of threads or forums I just say beware. Once you advocate limiting their speech or thoughts that makes you vulnerable to have the same imposed upon you.

+ 1 but even here it does not apply all the time, I mean what's good for the goose is not always good for the gander at Avsim, how many time did you see a post on Flight's forums where this statement could have been applied to.. http://forum.avsim.n...ct-please-read/ some of my (asking questions) post were removed from Prepar3D forums, I did not see David (nothing personal David) bending out of shape everytime we were questionning Flight's legal stuff....why is it not the same for all threads or should I say products?
