Freeware KSNA released

Featured Replies

It is indeed a terrific scenery, and I hope that a fix for the quicksand runways can be found. I've tried it both with and without Shez' elevation fix files installed from his version of KSNA, and it's same either way. I also have FSG's mesh installed for CA, so maybe that's a factor.

I renamed the "KSNA_John_Wayne_Santa_Ana_SNA2004_17pt359.bgl" from .bgl to .xxx in the "Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Namw\Scenery" folder and haven't had any issues so far.
One more thing...I also use Ultimate Terrain, MegaScenery Southern California, and FSG2010.... Mark The bgl was distributed via the following file....Elevation Fix For Addon KBUR KDCA KSNA Airport Scenery by Scott Smart3altfix.ziphttp://library.avsim...scen&DLID=76926
Hi,The bgl is in Sna2004sp.zip. The file replaced via this SP is AP916200.BGL in rootFS9\scenery\namw\scenery. Im not in the same place as my FS PC, so I can't fool around with this right now.
Put the original AP916200.BGL into the FS9\scenery\namw\scenery and that solved the problem. Kudos to you for that pickup! would been a long time tracking that down!

Hello, Thank you for kind words. Elevation issues were related to AP916200.BGL If you don't have acces to that file it's available from here. What I noticed is that runway lights (1.BGL and 2.BGL) make small difference between runways and taxiways altitude. I'm working to fix that. Also there will be alternative lights available for FSX acceleration users, as current version is fps intensive (remind, just for FSX Acceleration!). For any elevation/flickering issues I recommend to try to change mesh resolution settings. It helps in some cases. Thank you

Another wonderful scenery Mateusz. Thank you! I hope that Oliver Pabst will give this one AES support. Your Warsaw scenery is still one of the best freeware sceneries ever released for FS9 and I kept hoping he would add it to his list as it is definitely equal to any other freeware he has supported and better than most of them
